Devlin has freelanced conducting visual based interviews for a market research company since 2000. She is currently collaborating with fellow artist Blithe Riley on Belief Objects (interviewart.net/blog), a video interview project investigating how individuals define their belief systems. The project participated in the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's swing space artist residency in 2006 and at the Brooklyn College Community Partnership program in 2007. In 2007 she was a founding member of a monthly screening housed at the Interborough Repertory Theater, NY, NY, which inspired her to begin animating her drawings. Throughout this time Devlin has continued to work in her studio, where the subject matter she returns to the most deals with communication both with one's self and others. She currently lives in Brooklyn.
