Insatiable Streams, I.E.A., 10 years of the Institute for Electronic Arts Beijing B.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Beijing, China
The Beijing BS1 Contemporary Art Center is a not-for-profit art center established in April 2006 in the district of Chao Yang, situated between downtown Beijing and the Beijing airport. With grounds of 12,000 m2, it is the largest contemporary art space in Beijing. The exhibition space is linked to nearby art complexes which house artist studios, accommodation facilities for residency artists, a theater space and a dedicated mutimedia display space. The ambitious scale of the project seeks to further develop and support Chinese contemporary ary practices while actively developing international interactions through exhibitions and residency programs.
